Dear Parents & Carers

Thanks for checking out First Class.

At First Class Preschool, we believe that every child is unique. Our commitment is to provide a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.

We believe that the early years are crucial in shaping a child's development. Our play-based curriculum is designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. By focusing on child-led learning, we empower children to become active participants in their education. Through exploration, experimentation, and imaginative play, children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Building a strong partnership with parents and carers is essential to us. We believe that open communication and shared goals are vital for a child's success. Together, we create a supportive network that ensures your child feels safe, loved, and confident. We value your insights and involve you in your child's learning journey.

Inspired by progressive educational philosophies such as Reggio Emilia and the Curiosity Approach, our approach emphasises observation, documentation, and collaboration. Our dedicated educators create rich learning environments that encourage children to investigate, question, and discover. We believe in the importance of authentic materials and open-ended experiences to spark imagination and foster problem-solving skills.

Our curriculum is inspired by the children themselves. We believe that learning happens everywhere and every day. Through carefully planned and responsive interactions, we support children's development across all areas of learning, including physical, social, emotional, and cognitive.

We are committed to nurturing children who are confident, resilient, and respectful. Our values of resourcefulness, independence, and curiosity guide our practice. We believe that every child deserves equal opportunities to succeed, and we strive to create an inclusive community where diversity is celebrated.

First Class Preschool is housed in a bright and stimulating purpose-built building, designed specifically to meet the needs of young children. Our spacious indoor areas provide a variety of learning zones, encouraging exploration and creativity. We believe that outdoor play is essential for child development, and our large, secure outdoor space offers opportunities for physical activity, sensory experiences, and social interaction.

We understand the importance of keeping parents informed about their child's progress. Our online learning journal system provides a platform for sharing observations, photographs, and reflections on your child's learning journey. This enables you to stay connected to your child's experiences and celebrate their achievements.

We invite you to visit First Class Preschool to experience first hand the magic of child-centered learning. We believe that our preschool offers a unique and enriching environment where your child can thrive.
